Services for Lloyd Rowan will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Hilliard Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. immediately before the service. A graveside service will be held at Haven of Memories Cemetery in Canton.
Lloyd Bee Rowan was born November 1, 1932 in Van Zandt County. He had been a resident of Brownsboro for 48 years and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Ben Wheeler. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He retired after working as an inspector for Kelly Springfield for over 30 years. He loved to be with his grandchildren, and tend to his land and cattle.
Lloyd passed away at the age of 86 on January 2, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola Mae Jones Rowan; son, Lloyd "Cliff" Rowan; parents, Albert Clifford Rowan and Ruth Ida Mae Pope Rowan; sister, Hazel Johnson; and brother, Kenneth Rowan.
Survivors include his two daughters, Cindy Ballard (Danny) and Belinda Goode (Monte Mansfield), all of Brownsboro; twin brother, Floyd Rowan of Van; three granddaughters, Ceresa Ballard, Maranda Goode and Brittany Krumvieda (Bryce); and one great-grandson, Jonah.
