I met John while working for BJ Hughes over 40 years ago and he always remained a great friend and colleague. I always counted on his professional advice and knowledge over the many projects we worked on. He told it as he saw it, with sound judgment and exceptional experience that made him great to work with. I send deepest sympathy to his family.

I did not know John well, but he was a faithful greeter and usher every week,
including during the pandemic. He was
Welcoming and friendly. He had a servant
heart. We will miss him.

May Our Lord grant John, Peace and Rest. I will always remember John as a great Energy Industry Engineer and guiding light to all of us. His wit and humor were among his truest hallmarks, along with being brutally honest sometimes. I consider myself very lucky to have worked for John at Dresser and with him at Baker Hughes. Our Prayers go out for John, Jane and all of his family.

What fond memories of Johnny "Stump" from John Rundle High School and from being his teammate on the football team. I remember him as a hard working, generous and happy mate. A quote from my senior annual "Life is like a game of football, tough and hard. Play it as well as you did football and you will win. Lots of luck, Stump" I think he took his own advice. Condolences to all his loved ones.

I’m so sorry to hear of John’s passing. I had worked with John at Baker Hughes for several years when one day I forwarded an email he sent me to my parents. When my parents saw John’s name they told me that not only did they know John, but for a few summers in the 80’s we would vacation together in Florida!

Such a small world. And now it got a little bit smaller.

Praying for the family during this difficult time.

Love, the Williams family.
