Charlotte Newell

Charlotte Ann Butts Newell was born December 15, 1932 in Kingsville, Texas to the late Bascom Lynn Butts and Blanche Watson Butts. She passed away at the age of 77 on July 30, 2010 in Tyler, Texas.

Ms. Newell had been a resident of Mineola since 2003, formerly living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She was a farmer before retirement, and had a love for animals, especially dogs. She enjoyed painting, old movies, fine food, and holidays with family.

She was preceded in death by her son, Russell Newell.

Survivors include her two sons, Lynn Newell of Midland, and Kellam Newell and wife Christine of Mineola; and two grandchildren, Madalyn and Alexis.
