Memorial services for Leota Pipkins are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., July 31, 2010 at Church of God in Pittsburg, Texas, under the direction of the family.

Mrs. Pipkins passed away at the age of 76 on July 27, 2010 in Tyler.

Leota Rae Belcher Pipkins was born December 11, 1933 in Eufala, OK to the late Henry Harrison Belcher and Montie Lee Shropshire Belcher. She was a resident of Leesburg, formerly living in Bakersfiled, CA. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of God in Pittsburg. She enjoyed sewing and drawing, and was lovingly known as "Granny" to many. She was preceded in death by her son, Billy J. Pipkins.

Survivors include her husband J.D. Pipkins of Pittsburg; two daughters, Joanie Robertson and Vickie Pipkins; daughter-in-law, Barbara Pipkins; brothers, Goldman Belcher, Eugene Belcher and Estin Belcher; two grandchildren, Destre Robertson and Zachary David Sanders; and great-grandchildren, Jaeden Robertson, Trey Robertson, Emily Devine and Hunter Devine.

Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Sanders, Zac Sanders, Jaeden Robertson, Frank Duke, John Hill II, and Jeff Winchester.
