Ron Garrison

Memorial services for Charles Ronald Garrison are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Community Christian Fellowship in Garden Valley, with Pastor David Hickey officiating. Burial will be in Garden Valley Cemetery, under the direction of Hilliard Funeral Home, Van.

Mr. Garrison passed away at the age of 64 on July 22, 2010 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Ronnie was born May 18, 1946 in Ada, Oklahoma to the late Charles Loress Garrison and Zelma Maxine Simmons Williams. He had been a resident of Garden Valley for 26 years, formerly living in California. He worked as an insurance adjustor, specializing in natural disasters, and served in the US Navy. He served as an elder for Community Christian Fellowship.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maxine Williams and Raymond Williams, and his father, Loress Garrison.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Garrison of Garden Valley; three children, Aaron Garrison of Connecticut, Brandon Garrison of Garden Valley and Taryn Garrison of Connecticut; brother, Billy Williams of California; three grandchildren, Eden, Loren and Christian; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and spiritual family members.
